FORMAL
LIVING ROOM The formal living room has subtle similar feeling landscapes, however, they are from completely
different countries and time periods. The artists are American, Italian and English the 17th to 20th centuries.
They look cohesive because the framing and theme is all similar. The home has a dramatic mountain view (not shown) though
the windows that is repeated through the artwork in the room.
FORMAL
DINING ROOMThis focal painting
that can be viewd from the entry and main hall is not only Italian again reflecting the home's architecture, but depicts
water relaxation and the anticipation of the young men rowing towards their dates (infused by the bouquet of flowers and jug
of wine at their feet). Not unlike the anticipation of a good meal and relaxing conversation of a formal dinner.
The massive 10" deep frame commands the viewer to see the paintings importance. The second painting is an 18th
century colored drawing of plans for the famous French Fountain. The colors are drawn from the hand painted walls and
echo the fountain outside that can be heard through the window.
FAMILY GREAT ROOM The heart of the action. The
art is not only fun and forces a smile, the lively colors parallel the feelings of the occupants and are drawn from the surroundings.

LITTLE GIRLS ROOM
The periwinle and cream hand painted mural on walls are all that
is needed. The wonderful view through the french doors complements the mural. This mural was done on canvas and
applied to the wall like wallpaper. It can be removed and relocated easily.
PLAYROOM These wonderful contemporary pieces are the first thing
your eyes see through the doorway. Their colors reflect the decor, but they also annouce a youthful and fun ambience.
They are not framed, the canvas continues around to the back - which further enhances the feeling of informality in this suite.
CHILDREN'S PLAYROOM CLOSET Because the closet is the first thing
one sees upon entry to the playroom, we decided to make it a focal point. An artist created a surround for the
unusually shaped mirror, of hand crafted flowers. It is now an inviting spot - instead of one to close the door
on.
ARTIST WORKROOM While again reflecting the Italinate architecture and
the colors of the murals, the artwork is inteded to respect the seriousness of the Great Masters. Yet, because it is
a workroom, sketches, drawings and how to books play an impotant role.
CHILD'S BEDROOM A beloved collection of stuffed animals and photos
of family pets is replicated by the simple dog silhouettes and hand loomed carpet. You do not have to resort to posters
to keep the art child proof and wallet friendly!!

MAN'S OFFICE Because
it can be seen from the Living Room, the art is similar - yet subject is more masculine.

MASTER
BEDROOM The striking blues in the artwork suggest serenity as well as reflecting the beautiful
sky seen through all the windows. The intent was to repeat what cannot be surpassed.
MASTER BATH Anther Italecate feel, but the beautiful softness of the
cheurb is offset by a think and handsome frame - keeping the master bath suited to a couple with children. Old master
paintings will do well in a bathroom (despite common notions otherwise) so long as there is adequate ventilation and the moisture
never actually touches the painting.
